How many technologies do you detect?
We detect 5,000+ technologies across categories including e-commerce platforms, CMS, analytics, marketing automation, payment processors, and more.
How accurate is the detection?
Every detection includes a confidence score and reason codes explaining why we matched. We use multiple signals (headers, HTML, JavaScript, DNS) to validate detections.
How often is the data updated?
We run monthly crawls to keep our data fresh. Enterprise customers can access weekly or daily feeds for specific segments.
Pricing & Plans
What's the difference between subscriptions and credits?
Subscriptions are best for regular, recurring usage with predictable costs. Credits (pay-as-you-go) are perfect for campaign-based or spiky usage. Credits never expire.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. All subscriptions are month-to-month with no long-term commitment. Cancel anytime from your dashboard.
Do you offer refunds?
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on subscription plans. Credits are non-refundable but never expire.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards. Enterprise customers can pay by invoice with Net 30 terms.
API & Integrations
Do you have an API?
Yes! API access is included in Pro plans ($299/mo) and above. The API supports single-domain lookups, bulk queries, and segment exports.
What is MCP?
MCP (Model Context Protocol) lets you integrate what-stack directly with AI agents. Your agent can query segments, run lookups, and export data programmatically.
Do you integrate with Clay, Zapier, or n8n?
Yes! We have pre-built integrations for Clay, Zapier, and n8n. You can also use our REST API with any workflow tool.
Data & Exports
What export formats do you support?
We support CSV (for spreadsheets and CRMs) and Parquet (for data warehouses). Parquet exports are available on Pro and Enterprise plans.
Can I schedule automatic exports?
Yes, scheduled exports are available on Pro and Enterprise plans. You can set up daily, weekly, or monthly exports to your email or cloud storage.
How do data drops work?
Enterprise customers can receive Parquet data drops directly to their S3 or R2 bucket. Contact us for setup.
Privacy & Legal
Where does your data come from?
We detect technologies by analyzing publicly accessible information: HTTP headers, HTML content, JavaScript files, and DNS records. We don't scrape private or authenticated content.
Is this legal?
Yes. We only analyze publicly accessible web content. Our detection methods are similar to what any web browser does when loading a page.
Do you sell contact information?
No. what-stack provides technology signals, not contact databases. You bring your own contact data or use other providers for that.
